Switch from Club Prophet to TeeMarshal
Here is what TeeMarshal offers a public course, what the importer brings across from Club Prophet, and how to plan the move.
About Club Prophet
Club Prophet is an established tee sheet and point of sale system for golf courses. Its pricing and contract terms are quote based and vary by course, so check your own agreement. This page sticks to what TeeMarshal does and how the move works.

A fair comparison
TeeMarshal's column is fact. The Club Prophet column is a general description, because terms differ from course to course. Your own agreement is the source of truth.
| TeeMarshal | Club Prophet | |
|---|---|---|
| Pricing model | Published flat monthly price: $199 Starter, $349 Pro, $299 per course for groups of 2 to 10. No barter tee times and no per-booking fees. | Subscription software. Pricing is generally by quote and depends on the modules you choose. Ask Club Prophet for your current terms. |
| Who owns the golfer relationship | Your course. Golfers book with you, their details go into your golfer list, and TeeMarshal does not market other courses to them. | Depends on your agreement and on which booking and marketing channels you have turned on. Terms vary by course. Check your agreement. |
| Where golfers book | On your own domain, such as book.yourcourse.com, with your logo and colors. | An online booking page provided through Club Prophet. Domain and branding options depend on your setup. |
| Contracts | No contract. Month to month, and you cancel inside the app. | Term length and renewal conditions vary. Terms vary by course. Check your agreement. |
| Data export | Export everything as CSV whenever you like, plus a public API. If you leave, you take all of it. | Customer and reservation exports are available. Ask your vendor what else you can take with you. |
| Payment processing | Stripe, with your course as merchant of record. You pay Stripe's standard rate directly. No TeeMarshal markup at launch. | Depends on your processor and your agreement with Club Prophet. Check your merchant statement for the rate you pay. |
Product names are trademarks of their owners. Comparison based on publicly available information as of October 2026; terms vary by course.
What to export
Two files from Club Prophet cover it.
Customer export
Tee sheet export for your upcoming dates
These exports are often pipe or tab delimited rather than comma separated. The importer handles both, so upload the files as they are. If you are unsure how to produce them, ask your current vendor for a customer export and a tee sheet export.
What moves over
- Your golfers. Names, emails, phone numbers, and the history fields your export includes. Duplicates are merged by phone number first, then by email.
- Future bookings. Upcoming tee times land on the matching times on your new sheet. If your new sheet does not have a matching time, TeeMarshal creates it and flags it for you.
- Rate classes. Where your export names a rate for each booking, such as senior or resident, it is mapped to the rate class with the same name.
- Consent, only when you attest to it. Imported golfers are opted in to marketing texts only if you confirm in the import that the consent exists. That confirmation is logged. Otherwise they come in as email contacts only.
- Conflicts are listed, never dropped. If an imported booking would put a time over capacity, it appears on a list for your GM to resolve. Nothing is silently discarded.
- Reversible for 7 days. Every imported row is tagged with its import. If something looks wrong, roll the whole import back within 7 days and try again.
How the import works
Upload your export files
CSV or Excel, uploaded in the admin under settings. Files are stored privately for your course.TeeMarshal recognizes the format
The importer identifies the source system from the column headers and maps the columns for you. If it does not recognize a file, you map the columns yourself in a simple matching screen.Review the preview
Before anything is saved you see the mapped columns, row counts, duplicates that will be merged, and any rows with errors.Commit
Golfers land in your CRM and future bookings appear on the sheet, marked as imported.Roll back if you need to
One click undoes the import for 7 days and returns your data to where it was.
Your switch plan
Check your agreement
Find the end date and the notice terms in your Club Prophet agreement, including any automatic renewal. Put the notice deadline on a calendar. Agreements differ, so read your own.Export your data
Export your customer list and your upcoming tee sheet from Club Prophet. If you cannot find an export, ask your current vendor for one in writing.Set up your sheet and rates
The onboarding wizard asks for your tees, interval, and first and last times, then six questions about your rates. This is the part that takes under 30 minutes.Import and preview
Upload the export files, check the preview, and commit. Review any conflicts the importer lists.Run in parallel for a few days
Connect Stripe, make a test booking, and have your staff use the new sheet next to the old one until they are comfortable. Pick a quiet weekday as your cutover date.Point your booking links to the new site
Change the "Book a tee time" button on your website and the booking link on your Google Business Profile to your new booking address. Do a final import of any bookings taken since the first one.Go live, then cancel the old system
Take bookings on TeeMarshal. Once you have confirmed everything came across, cancel Club Prophet according to the notice terms in your agreement.
Founding-course offer: the first 25 courses get their data migration done for them at no charge and their price locked for life. See pricing or read the importing guide.
Questions about leaving Club Prophet
Our export files are not normal CSVs. Is that a problem?
No. The importer reads pipe and tab delimited files as well as comma separated ones.
We use Club Prophet's point of sale. Does TeeMarshal replace it?
For the golf counter, yes. TeeMarshal has a light pro shop POS for check-in, carts, range, and a few hundred retail items, with Stripe Terminal card readers. If you depend on deeper retail or food and beverage, tell us so we can be honest about fit.
Do we need to install anything?
No. TeeMarshal runs in a web browser. The sheet keeps working through short internet outages and syncs when the connection returns.
Can we undo the import?
Yes, for 7 days. Rolling back removes everything that import created.
